A big thanks for the over 50 entries in the August 2012 photo competition - seems thirds rule composition was a favoured subject.

A little slow in processing these entries this month as reorganising the office and working on a number of site developments at the same time ...

So results soon, and monthly competitions will resume again in October 2012.

cheers for now
the Chillys.

Been putting some thirds rule competition entries up live today, and more to do tomorrow. You can find them by searching for 'thirds', (with Editorial selected so you find them all).

Then a winner will be decided!

New competition topic due to be announced any day for October 2012.

cheers for now

Photo Competition November
Subject for November 2012, is Golden Hour Lighting.

A bit more precise on Golden Hour Lighting. I am taking it as sunrise or sunset?

Great idea - we intend images taken looking away from the sun - of scenes illuminated by the 1st or last hour of its beautiful light, rather than sunsets or sunrises towards the sun. More detail to follow ...
