I do not divulge my IP. Each site has it's own identity. MCB is for New Zealand images only. I don't want the hassle of operating a website when I can get better coverage through stock sites

You can now do your own research on the internet. Just shows what is available out there. Hope this helps to prove my point. As I said I will not disclose my IP.

Hi all! I don't know about the differences in $ that you had in your sales lately - as I have only sold 1 image after they cut back payments. And in this case I got paid $7,78 for a small siyed image and I figured that this is exactly $ 8,75 less GST. Does that work with your image sales too?

By the way I'm selling images with German stock agencies and 50% is standard there. One agency even pays 60% and another one recently increased up to 55% depending on how many pics you have uploaded... Unfortunately they don't sell many pics 'with a kiwi slant' :-)

Hi Tom! GST! Quick calculations on the difference and I think you are right. The difference is the GST amount. Are we getting paid minus GST now then? I wish someone from the Team would let us know.

MCB team has not answered my email query about the short payment I sent them last night. Anyway it's been an interesting discussion and hope this has helped the MCB team correct their calculations and think about commissions going forward

The stock site in question here has discontinued the Red commission model in May 2002 and the Green model in 2006. Each time their commission has gone up - the photographer's has gone down. There are currently no contributor storage fees, or submission fees - presumably to offset the photographer's commission being less. Anyone can apply to join with the usual criteria of supplying some images for inspection to see if your work is good enough. I don't like the fact that images have to be increased in size for them. As a designer I prefer to rez them up myself as and when necessary. I do not see you on their list of photographers... One of my favourite food photographers has images on this site. Some of my clients have purchased from this site some years ago, but have now switched to iStockphoto. For NZ images naturally I am encouraging them to search here of course!

Good on you Pixelated for directing traffic here, big thumbs up.You know,i wouldn"t mind paying a yearly fee of say $40-$50 for an increased pay out percentage, and like some overseas sites, mcb could have different levels ect, probably stirred up a hornets nest there but if it means more dosh for us and mcb it's got to be good.I wonder if Rosie and Mel have thought of that angle,i'm sure someone will be on board tomorrow to answer our questions.

I wouldn't mind it either Canon! I want to see this site grow. I'm doing what I can to advertise the site.

Have a great weekend everyone!
