Some members have reported a teething problem with this otherwise superb machine. (Edited should read Nikon D600)

Manufacturing oil leaking onto the sensor (and dark spots), which gets repaired if sent back by the user.

Check yours out if you have one. Seem some supber colour and clarity from these cameras when working correctly.

cheers

Are you actually talking about the CANON EOS 600D or the Nikon D600 - as there is no such thing as a Canon D600...

Cheers!

Looks like the Nikon version of an ok camera...what's with these companies racing each other to get a higher ISO than each other?Waste of time,we only need a minimum ISO of 50-3200,simple that should cover bright landscapes down to night and low light stuff adequately.

Well well, very sorry for calling the Nikon D600 a Canon D600.

This message is really about the Nikon D600. Without oil on the sensor these cameras produce outstanding colour and image quality.
