Hi MCB,

Taken from your image requirements information......'However, multiple shots of the same image (that are almost identical) will be declined.'

Does this include images that have been desaturated so essentially they are identical except one is in colour and one is in black and white?

Hi Fatsprat

Good to hear from you : )

This requirement relates to imagery, where the scene in the image is essentially the same but taken at a slightly different angle - resulting in a minor change in the composition.

However in saying that, we encourage different angles and both landscape and portrait orientation, as you never know what your customers are after.

When it comes to black and white imagery, feedback from our customers has been that they prefer to work with the original colour image and edit to black and white if required for their artwork.

Colour images also provide the photographer with greater sales opportunities for that image, as it can be downloaded for either b&w or colour use.

Its best to upload the imagery and our reviewers can look at each image on a case by case basis. We have some stunning b&w imagery in the library.

Hope this helps!

Have a great week : )

Cheers for now,
The mychillybin team

Hi Mel,

That's just what I was thinking Clients can adjust a colour image to B&W according to their own standards - not always as easy as hitting the desat button right? I feel the same way about cropping images into panoramas, the client can use blank space to place copy or maybe a second image. I generally don't submit panoramas for that reason.

Thanks for the reply
