Hi Photographers

Thank you for all of your uploaded images they are fabulous and the team is working through them as quickly as they can!

In the meantime, here's a little tip for you.
When uploading a series be sure to include both landscape and portrait orientation images. This may help to increase your sales : )

Cheers

Hi Mel,

This reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask.

I often have multiple photos from one shoot, but your guidelines specifically say:

"Duplicates and Multiple Angles
Variety is the key. Choose and send us your best shots. Multiple shots of the same image will be declined."

But in this post you are saying "When uploading a series ..." to make sure that we send in multiple shots.

Have I misinterpreted the guideline all this time? If I have, I guess I have lots of photos that I can submit.

Thanks, Brenda.

Hi Brenda,

Multiple shots of the same image would be an image that is almost identical to another. We prefer you choose the best of these to upload.

An image series can include landscape, portrait and different compositions of the same subject matter. If people are involved it could be different expressions of the same image. A good example of this is Jo Curries baby and mother series.

We will update our guidelines to make this clearer

Cheers for now,
The mychillybin team.

Okay, thanks. I would have looked at that series and, based on my interpretation of the guidelines, have decided that those last 4 were 'multiple angles' of the same thing and would have only submitted one.

I guess I was too strict!

Will look forward to the clarified guidelines... in the meantime, I guess I should go back to my shoots and find more alternates to upload. Cheers.
