It is very easy to see that photographs of people have been selling big over the last couple of weeks. The majority of them seem to be natural kiwi life of people happy and enjoying the outdoors. Congratulations to all who have benefited from these sales.

Just wondering from the Chillys if there are any specific people requests from clients, whether situational, mood, etc.

Yes superb to see all these sales. The word(s) that occurs to us to describe most of the people images in these sales is Authentic, or if you prefer, keep-it-real.

Having a going-about-regular-life in NZ look, in terms of context, posture, and expression. A significant number involve direct gaze at the camera, and yet even these are a typical sort of direct gaze, rather than something unnatural specially created for the photograph.

No outstanding requests at present - just more like these which tend to be distinctive to mychillybin and keep our customers coming back.

My best seller sold again this week, although in the smallest size (web use?). More recent images of the same model under the 'exclusive use' option have yet to sell, but I don't expect volume of sales for those. My sales history suggests that scenic shots sell less often but in large size, which is a plus. At least four of my editorial images showing people have sold at medium or large size. I thought editorial might not be worth the effort, but I've since decided to shoot more. The opportunities to do so arises quite often. Meanwhile, we need some better weather.

Select General image use for all applications that are not purely editorial in nature.

Note that whilst these images will be suitable for Editorial Use, some of these images are not able to be used for General purposes as they contain brands, people, etc without needed legal releases.

(ii)   Items not for resale (e.g. ads, marketing materials, websites, social media posts, unpaid apps, posters, flyers, reports, ...)

(iii)   Items for resale (e.g. use of image on coasters, paid apps, screensavers, or printed map books, reports, magazine covers etc that are sold on websites or through shops ...)

Specified Period - images may not be used beyond the specified period, without a further licence of some type being obtained.
