Just taken a look at all the entries received so far in the mychillybin Summer 2014/15 - Four Image Set.

Superb entries, can't wait to see these processed and up on site for our customers to enjoy and use.

So many different and superb interpretations judging will be a nightmare!

Entries close Saturday 28 Feb at midnight - NOT LONG TO WAIT NOW!

Processing the competition entries is now well underway - over half finished - see them by searching for 'summer 4 competition' (with Editorial selected, which automatically shows Creative as well).

Should be all processed through by end of Friday is the plan.

All the Summer 4 Competition entries have been processed through now, and 66 accepted for the mychillybin library.

See these by selecting Editorial and searching for 'summer 4 competition'. If you select freshness for sort sequence they are close to, but not exactly in sets of 4.

Love to hear here if you are particularly impressed with any, and whether or not the sets of 4 worked well for you?

Deliberations about winners will occur next week.

cheers for now

A great competition full of variety and photographic goodness.
Not surprised at the overwhelming number of coastal landscapes.... mmm...
...Hey guys, we need more people shots - they seem to sell much better!?

Cheers,

Here they are again, dispayed in their groups of 4.

Recall not all groups of 4 have to have a common theme, as one option was to submit a group with 4 different techniques from the list provided.

That's heaps better to see the flow within the sets of four as it is most important in competition that each image flows one to another.
Some great sets there, not going to be easy picking a winning set.

Just a couple comments, only though in my opinion from competition of sets.

I do love Ray's set of the teenage girls but I would have put the vertical at the end as a statement to finish the fun they are having. The vertical image as 2nd into the set with such a strong impact disrupts the set.

Alister's family snaps, again wonderful, but I would have put the 3rd one of the girl in pink at the end as a finish photo, just the way she is looking sort of back to the other 3 in the set of images at all the fun every one is having.

These little things to me when putting sets together are very important if you want the winning set. Think of flow, one image into another. Think of impact in the image, where is it best put. Is the viewing up and down up and down to the eye being disruptive instead of one flow straight through.

Everyone has done so well and some with so much energy into them. Look forward to seeing the results of the winning set.

Thanks Kathleen

Apologies - seems the chillys need to learn to take more care with image sequence in sets, and check the competition entry image sequences ... the sequences shown here are not necessarily the sequences submitted.

thanks and cheers

Ah, so not maybe the photographer :-)
But still very important though if the photographer had not thought of their setting out of a winning set of 4 images as to some of the little details that is expected in entries to a competition for sets.
Were any noted that they be displayed in a particular order, if not you were none the wiser of how they were to be placed. I'm sure the photographer would let you know :-)
Love all the different idea's taken, makes for some great images.
