Hi,
I was thinking it would be pretty cool to give each other some feedback when we think we see MyChillyBin images used in the media, sort of like skiting although not restricted to our own photos but also those done by others. I love to know how my photos have been used, and I'm sure others would too. For example, I'm pretty sure that this image by Rob Tucker #100004_202 appears on a billboard in Bell Block advertising the TSB bank. And I think I spotted a 3 metre high strawberry in Constellation drive that looked like one of mine! Anyone else keen on this idea?

I would love to know where mine are used. It's one of the great intrigues of stock photography. lol

I would also be really excited to see any MCB photo that I recognise used smewhere. I keep looking, but no luck yet.

I'd be keen too. It's fun to be on the lookout for mcb images and then if one is spotted, make a post in these forums as to where it was seen.

Hi fatsprat, pixelated and kiwiangel,

We're also constantly on the lookout so will keep you posted. Remember you can always check out the Designer Lounge to see designs that have used mcb images - this is an area we are really encouraging our members to use

It's pretty exciting stuff!

Cheers,
The mcb team.

Thanks Rosie!

I always keep an eye on the Designer's Lounge and check out new uploads to it. It's a neat way of getting a 'feel' for how advertisers use images that I'm familiar with through browsing MCB. I love seeing how they've chosen to crop or highlight a particular part for their need. For most images you see in brochures and stuff, you never get to see the 'as bought' photo.

Anyways, all that rambling, just to say 'thanks' and happy pic-spotting.

My husband bought home a full colour brochure advertising the new Honda Odyssey and it's full of Chillybin images! Well done Jo Currie, Brent Neighbour #100398_18, Michi Krauss #100193_1007, Derek Finlay #100782_74, and Kathleen Shepherd #100789_141.

Nice one fatsprat! For anyone who wants to check out the brochure you can go to the Honda website and download the pdf version of the brochure - it looks great!

Here's the link below, and then click on the Odyssey brochure (in the bottom row).
