DescriptionASB Wynyard A light reflector tunnel, echoing the volcanic cones familiar to Auckland assists natural light into the heart of the building thereby reducing lighting demands. The building’s windows open manually exposing occupants to the sea air and reducing air conditioning demands. The Northern seaward side of the building has metallic sunscreens in the shape of leaves and vertical fins on the other designed to shade the façade reducing glare and heat build-up in internal spaces.
