I have been using the mac version (Photoshop manly) for about a week now and is incredibly unstable especially when using in conjunction with a windows server... when you come to save, Photshop just crashes loosing the work done and in a few cases the file becomes corrupt (loosing your file for good)... It is a lot better if your just saving to your work locally (internal drive) but even then it does crash sometimes when saving.

I'm using CS4 on a brand new 2x 3.0Ghz Quad-Core Intel with 11Gb of RAM an a upgraded graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT) and its quick but I have turned off all the wizz bang stuff like Flick Panning.

On the whole its good abut very memory intensive so unless your working locally and have a new machine I'd wait for the first or second update to iron out the bugs before splashing out on the upgrade.

Thanks for the info I can't wait to try it out. Sounds like a good idea to wait until the bugs are ironed out though...
