Three Changes are planned for this screen.

1. The current photo upload screen asks for keywords before description. This seems the wrong way around to the chillys, and hence it is planned to reverse the order of these fields on the upload screen - so as to ask for Description, before Keywords. Would this adversely affect that way anyone uploads images and data?

2. The intention is to create a new optional field for a photographer's image reference, for those that would like to include this information. This has been asked for by several people.

3. At present the chilly's populate the new Title field, extracting information from the Description, and seeking to achieve various user experience and SEO objectives. The intention would be for the chillys to continue to populate this field, but to make it editable by photographers so that if it contains errors, or photographers would like to make changes to it, they will be able to do so. Is there comfort with this approach?

Look forward to your comments.

Hi
1... it seems a logical change... no issue for data from me.
2. I am not sure what this means.. is this a GPS reference?
3. Makes sense.. you do the work for us .. then we can edit if we have an issue... it's a comfortable vote from me.

More on No2.

Number 2 is an optional (alphe numeric) field that photographers can fill if they wish, typically with their own reference number for that image, so they can identify the image by their own internal numbering system.

No.2 would be handy.

What I would find handy is to able to see and refer to Images that I have Uploaded - and are still under consideration.
This would be so I can copy and reuse Keywords for similar images that I haven't yet submitted.
I notice that the Review Time for images is now up to 4 weeks - so this would be even more handy now.

I second the idea to let us view and even edit images that are waiting approval. Sometimes after a few weeks I have forgotten exactly what images I have submitted.

Yes this has just been posted on the forums to get some quick feedback and ideas. Save the photographer emails for the more major changes.

Lets see if we can get some of these up this week - and whether we can also get the holding queue images editable, as has been suggested here.

cheers for now
