Hi Chillys,i understand your busy people like the rest of us,but when you don't make an apperance on a monday does that mean your on holiday or changed your hours or something along those lines?Just wondering as we like to see what's coming and going on a daily basis.Communication is a good tool for any business ,perhaps i missed something somewhere but don't think so,cheers.

Morning William,

The keywords for the last week were changed yesterday morning in the photographer lounge, we are busy with some changes to the website search etc, and some team members are away on holiday. But if you have any enquiries please feel free to email them through - we still have a great response time - and no, there have been no changes to our hours.

Cheers for now,
the chillys

Ok and thanks for the reply.Just 1 more question in the forums as it concerns everyone, why have no more images been uploaded to " photos just in" this week?.If that's going to be a staff issue will you be adding more staff when you go to editorial images also?as this would cause a backlog of images being uploaded and processed and put pressure on your people to fly through acceptable images for either genre, possibly causing good images to be allocated to the wrong department or even deleted, cheers David.Anything else on this subject i will email you directly

Hi Canon

You raise important points on processing volumes - a post went up this morning about a new processing program that is now well advanced and immiminent for release. This will speed the task for the chillys significantly (automating a number of purely administrative steps) as well as provide better feedback for photographers. Hope you enjoy the results when they start to appear.

The team will be back on inbound processing soon this week; it is pleasing that the delay last week does not seem to have slowed sales which were at a good rate!

Thanks
The Chillys

Hi Chillys.
Just checking with you that bit about "This will speed the task for the chillys significantly (automating a number of purely administrative steps)"
As the images come in your not automating auto levels, auto colour, etc that photoshop or other programs can do are you to take the consuming time out of checking levels, colour etc?
A lttle bit more to clarify automating please.
Thanks, Kathleen.

Kathleen - thanks for this query. You can rest easy, it is just administrative aspects of opening and closing files etc, not changing the actual image in any way.

It includes placing a thumbnail of the images in the emails back to photographers (rather than us typing a description of each image) so they can relate comments to images more easily.

Should go live tomorrow - and can then be adjusted fruther as needed.

Cheers for now
