Hi photographers ...

The large number of images coming in this summer has been great. A large number have been processed this week and in bound photos are processed up to 24th January currently.

The team are taking a break from processing new images during the shoulder to the weekend, and expect to process again on Wednesday 2nd Feb 2011. New images can of course continue to be uploaded during this time.

This will give the team time to plan and progress additional image and brand marketing tasks to grow sales volumes again this year.

The 7 current applications from new photographers will be processed on Tuesday 1st Feb (or possibly earlier) - sorry these are taking a little longer than usual.

cheers for now

Well all your wonderful images have swamped us again, creating a delay in processing. This is because mychillybin promotional materials were prepared last week for the first Design Assembly meeting in Auckland last week (around 100 attended including a mychillybin photographer), and one of the team is in Christchurch for a few days offering some assistance there.

Lots of images were processed today, mainly in date received order, although photographers with just a few images are sometimes taken ahead of date sequence to provide good variety on the new image pages. The team shoud be able to get up to date again next week. Thanks for your patience. The chillys.

A Telecom broadband outage (due to a cable fault in the street) at the mychillybin office has meant no processing of inbound images till late in the day today.

The site remained fully functional however as it is hosted externally. Back in action with image uploads tomorrow. Thanks for your patience as we catch up again.

cheers

Thanks for all the wonderful images coming in each day!

The review team are presently making an extra effort to ensure images accepted have not only good composition but great lighting as well; as shown in a lighting histogram appropriate to the subject and its treatment. This makes such a difference to the appeal of the images on site, for both experienced and less experienced design customers. Katherine has kindly made a post (see other topic) about this for those who would like to read more on this topic.

This means the target processing turnaround time is stretching out a bit at present. Photographers with large numbers of images ready to be processed are having them processed in batches so that everyone gets some of their images through without undue delay. We appreciate your patience.

This week we processed images up to 6th April - so there is still a bit of a procesing lag at present. Its all the great photos coming in!

Easter and Anzac images have also all be processed as far as we know from a quick scan (let us know if there are others in the holding bay).

Occasionally you may notice a more recently received image jump the queue - when this happens there is a reason like a customer has requested the image and it has been taken and uploaded specially, or it is a resubmission with requested adjustments, or the photographer uploaded just one or two, or it is a subject we are giving priority processing to (e.g. teenagers, easter and ANZAC at present), etc.

thanks for all the great images

Quite a large number of images waiting to be processed (after Easter); so the team are processing modest size batches for each person in turn at present, then working through the waiting images again person by person.

Tomorrow priority will be given to images submitted for possible inclusion in the bid for the customer's 4 image request, advised about today.

thanks for your patience.
