Hi Guys,
Over the last couple of weeks I have received several/ many emails to advise me of new Mychillybin forum topics. Each appears to be from the mychillybin team. Yet upon visiting this forum site... there are no new topics.

Each email asks you click a hyperlink to look at the new topic.

It seems that this may be an attempt to have you click and you are likely to head off to some unknown site. i.e. phishing

My strong advice is.. rather than clicking the url in the email... come directly to this site via the website.. i.e. not via an email link.. to check the forum topics directly.

Thanks for these comments, and suggestions.

There have recently been two sets of spam posts on the mychillybin forums. mychillybin forums automatically generate new post advice notices to members (who have elected to receive these), so notice of forum posts are received by members for these spam posts as well.

When the advice notices are clicked after the spam posts have been deleted by mychillybin, the advice notices don't have a post to go to, so lead nowhere. This could be made more informationally helpfull, which will be looked into once the current site migration work is complete.

So no known risks in clicking the new form post notices, but Graham's suggestion seems wise for those who hold any ongoing concerns. Clicking links on spam posts however for fake degrees in Malaysia and any other spam (if you get to these posts before we delete them) is however risky.
