MCB Featured Photographer: Darren Wolley
Introducing Darren Wolley...Darren has now been a member of Mychillybin for five months and continues to impress the team with his eye capturing nature and wildlife imagery.
His portfolio offers a collection of peaceful images with strong colours and dramatic moods.
1. What I can't live without in my camera bag is... well it would have to be the bag itself, it is awesome, a Lowepro Flipside 400 AW. It is so well made, really comfortable on those long walks, and does a great job of protecting my gear.
2. My idea of a perfect Sunday is... getting up really early and heading out to the East Coast to catch the sunrise and hopefully take a few good photos, and then going out and having a nice coffee and cake somewhere with my partner, a good walk in the bush in the afternoon, and then heading across to the West Coast to catch the sunset and more photo opportunities.
3. The best thing about New Zealand is... it has to be our amazing and accessible landscape, beach, bush, mountains, lakes, rivers, it's all here, and the people aren't bad either.
4. What makes me laugh out loud... I would have to say "animal antics" especially pups and kittens.
5. In five years I hope to be... in a position where I have given up my day job and become a full time freelance photographer.
