MCB Featured Photographer: Peter Mitchell

Peter is an extremely talented Auckland based photographer. His impressive breathtaking landscapes and location shots never cease to amaze us!

1. What I can't live without in my camera bag is... after my camera, my tripod is the most useful thing I have. I have heavy duty tripod that can be weighted down as it is often windy in Auckland. Also, I use a Manfrotto panorama head. The combined weight of this and the camera means a sturdy tripod is required.

2. My idea of a perfect Sunday is… well, I guess it starts with French Toast. Maybe a walk on the beach. Browse a bookshop. Friends and family. Glass of wine in there somewhere.

3. The best thing about New Zealand is… Sauvignon blancs are really great and the mussels are really good too. Apart from this though the country faces some very large challenges. It really hasn't moved ahead in the last fifteen years.

4. What makes me laugh out loud is… my dog can do that. Just does some crazy things. He'll put his head in a shoe, and then push it around the lounge.

5. In five years I hope to be… doing much what I am now. Life's great.
